Portola and Visitacion Valley Community Tree Planting
October – November 2020
Due to the citywide shelter-in-place order, Friends of the Urban Forest (FUF) paused tree planting in your neighborhood. We are pleased to let you know that we are now able to safely and legally resume.
Our staff will be planting trees in your neighborhood October and November. You may see small groups of FUF staff working in the area. While we’d normally love for you to greet us or join the planting, we ask that you do not approach or talk with FUF staff in-person to protect both your health and ours.
If you see FUF staff outside and would like to discuss the planting, please call Jesus at 415.500.1956 or email jesus@fuf.net. We’ll be available and eager to speak with you. Please feel free to give us a wave from your window if you’d like to show your support!
