Low. Early pruning needed to train a good shape; pruning needed less frequently with age.

Any soil, coastal conditions, high winds.
- Special Considerations:
'Green n Clean' cultivar is resistant to myoporum thrips. Invasive roots. Seeds poisonous to some animals.
- Notable Traits:
Native of New Zealand. Popular Bay Area tree because of tolerances. Current populations are being devastated by recent introduction of Myoporum thrips (Kambothrips myopori). Do not plant susceptible species.
