Moderate. Early pruning needed to train a good shape; pruning needed less frequently with age. Do not prune central leader. Requires sidewalk clean-up during flower and fruit drop.

Prefers sun, warmth, and good drainage. Develops significant roots with age. 4x4' basins recommended. Flowers and berries can cause stickiness on paving. Subject to poor rooting.
